Just back from Eagle Creek. Shooting an eddy of logs at a speed of 3 - 8 seconds allows us to see the same as the capture of fire used in dance, we glimpse what the eye cannot see. a reflection of our larger than life gallexy.

up 395 entering Oregon from Calif. we saw this awesome storm passing by so we stopped and took a few shots. The lighting was beautiful.

As strange as this photo looks, I have added nothing. I only took out distracting parts of the photo, leaving the two dancers appearing to have mearged into one...no kidding.

While documenting the fires this summer I was focused on shooting the massive plume of the Lake George fire when I turned and saw this sight. It was so close to the fire yet so removed. It lasted less than an hour.

Lucky Rat
I have trapped close to a dozen Pack Rats at my place this summer. I stopped killing them thanks to the insight of Irene. I take them out in the Junipers to release them. I think I even like them now.
