My favorite tavern wench. She is always so kind and looks like she is having the best time, even with a bunch of drunken bastards breathing down her neck, staring at her cleavage, and being obnoxious, and she does this in 90 degree heat!. She sings and dances too! She is certainly a grand treasure to have at WRFF. I am blessed to be her friend.

Christa is why I can walk past the Ale House and not worry about what's going on. Christa is always up to something, and has a wicked gleam in her eye. Christa keeps the bar hoppin', and everything from falling apart, and we're damn lucky to have her. Aside from that, Christa is also a total darling, funny as hell, and a witty wench. Love you, love you. :) Thanks for everything you do, bebe!

Ramblings of a Wench
Months ago, when I was still gainfully employed, Chris & I planned a road trip. Not just ANY road trip. You see, the love of my life is an all out DEAD HEAD. I mean REALLY. I am just lucky enough he is also smart and has a full time job. So many who love the dead end up w/ dead-end lives...but I digress. I myself, in my early 20's, did the tour thing for awhile. I met the best, nicest people of my life during those times. (except all of you)

In today's age and economy, we are told to NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK. For some silly reason, I grew up with the notion that was "slightly rude". Calling on friends to help you get a job (or anything)from connections THEY established. Am I the only one? I was taught to be independent, do your own research. MOST of all do NOT impose on your friends/acquaintances.

So, anyone who has visited one of the alehouses will know Verbena....or Verby as we call her. And of course there is the male version of wench....Bench. They are getting married today at 2pm. I just wanted to put a blessing out that it will go smooth and wonderful for them.

I have just purchased the noble garb I wore one weeknd at faire last year. It has the outer-parts, but the undies...not so much.
