My favorite tavern wench. She is always so kind and looks like she is having the best time, even with a bunch of drunken bastards breathing down her neck, staring at her cleavage, and being obnoxious, and she does this in 90 degree heat!. She sings and dances too! She is certainly a grand treasure to have at WRFF. I am blessed to be her friend.

Christa is why I can walk past the Ale House and not worry about what's going on. Christa is always up to something, and has a wicked gleam in her eye. Christa keeps the bar hoppin', and everything from falling apart, and we're damn lucky to have her. Aside from that, Christa is also a total darling, funny as hell, and a witty wench. Love you, love you. :) Thanks for everything you do, bebe!

Ramblings of a Wench

So, anyone who has visited one of the alehouses will know Verbena....or Verby as we call her. And of course there is the male version of wench....Bench. They are getting married today at 2pm. I just wanted to put a blessing out that it will go smooth and wonderful for them.

To all those attending the feast at Scott and Kristin's...enjoy one another. At some point, toast the happy couple, kay?

I have just purchased the noble garb I wore one weeknd at faire last year. It has the outer-parts, but the undies...not so much.
I have, in the past known the name of the items I need, but I woked the graveyard shift last night, and am having a hard time making my brain work.
So, if someone can look at the above picture, and let me know the things I need to be proper....(proper, me?)
I would like to have the appropriate look if I am to wear it again. I wanted to wear it in the parade, but ... read more

Should auld Aquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld aquantance be forgot
And auld lang syne?

*Chorus*
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld land syne.
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For auld lang syne

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pu'd the gowans fine,
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit
Sin aul lang syne.

We twa hae paidl't in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be... read more

Celebrating Winter Solstice
by Selena Fox

Winter Solstice has been celebrated in cultures the world over for thousands of years. This start of the solar year is a celebration of Light and the rebirth of the Sun. In old Europe, it was known as Yule, from the Norse, Jul, meaning wheel.

Today, many people in Western-based cultures refer to this holiday as "Christmas." Yet a look into its origins of Christmas reveals its Pagan roots. Emperor Aurelian established December 25 as the birthday... read more
