Midsummer's
(blog entry)
On our way to Midsummer's in Contoocook NH, when BLAM...somewhen ran into the ass end of our car. The car ahead of us slammed on their brakes, we slammed on ours...and the truck behind us(not the big kind, or we wouldn't be here) was not so fast....

I've finally entered the world of home brewing. I've made up 3 gallons of Joe's Ancient Orange. I went to Stout Billy's in Portsmouth,NH for my carboy and airlock. Place needs a MAJOR organization, but they had what I wanted and they're close...

Rainy Nor'easter
(blog entry)
The good news is that we didn't get any snow. The bad news is...lots of rain. We basically have three roads leading from our house, and they were all closed because the rivers overflowed and washed them out. Of course...sometimes you can spit ...

The Itsy Bitsy Spider
(blog entry)
My house is starting to feel like a single's bar for spiders. It's autumn and they're all out looking for companionship. And I don't have the heart to stomp 'em; cause all's they want is a little action. They look up at me with all those little...

Car got towed to a garage and we're waiting to hear from the claims adjuster. On a good note, the day turned mighty iffy weather wise, so at least we weren't weta nd chilly at Midsummer's.

Place needs a MAJOR organization, but they had what I wanted and they're close by. Of course, I forgot to dissolve my honey in warm water so it's all sitting at the bottom of the carboy resisting every effort I have to mix it into the water solution. I'm sitting it in a warm water bath right now, hoping to heat up the honey ...

The good news is that we didn't get any snow. The bad news is...lots of rain. We basically have three roads leading from our house, and they were all closed because the rivers overflowed and washed them out. Of course...sometimes you can spit and they'll overflow. As of today, we have one way out to town. Two of the roads are opened; but one of those two roads connects to another road that's closed because of the rain. In addition to the flooded roads we had a flooded basement. A good...

My house is starting to feel like a single's bar for spiders. It's autumn and they're all out looking for companionship. And I don't have the heart to stomp 'em; cause all's they want is a little action. They look up at me with all those little eyes and their little pedipalps are moving around and I KNOW they're saying "please, don't kill me". "why not?" I ask. "true love.". They answer. So I put them down the basement and say "don't come up again, at most I can kill you in the mornin...
