This Wednesday night, December 12, Pikes Peak Derby Dames will be hosting a fundraiser Skate-A-Thon with 50% of the proceeds going to TESSA.

The event will take place from 7-9pm at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium. This is a FREE event. Attendees are encouraged to sponsor their favorite roller girl to skate laps for their donations.

Last Saturday, Irish Julie and I honed our tribal fusion chops at the Colorado Springs student night. We danced to Solitude by Solace and it was super fun.

Molly from TribalTique was there, which was cool because I had infused a couple of their moves that I learned at TF7 into the piece. As well as a new move learned from Mardi Love in Albuquerque. And of course, Ariellah's fabulous spiderweb move.

What can I say? Those ladies amaze me. Their show was so beautiful. I had a blast meeting my new friend, Lily. Rachel was wonderful and gracious and doesn't think I'm a stalker. :) She even posed for a picture with my tattoo. Mardi's workshop was my favorite of the three (I didn't do Tobias's). Dancing at a restaurant with only about 5 non-bellydancers there, but it was fun anyway. Some amazing photos were taken beforehand. We look so cool! :) Performance video to come.
