In my mind, Sasha is still the little girl that I left when I joined the Air Force. She is the flirt who explored Scotland with me (and got all the guys). She is the adventurer who left Montana for the big city. She is the city girl whom I barely know anymore. She's my sister. Call her a woman, but she is still a little girl to me.

sasha, in addition to being a beautiful person (both inside and outside), is an amazing seamstress.

she can look at your napkin drawing and turn it into a full fledged evening gown, or, (if you like), make you the coolest furry animal custome ever.

i highly recommend using her seamstress skill if you need to.

To limit her power of talent, and mine.

To love her, is to be surrendered to Mother Nature's grace and complexity, charisma, and motion.

I love to break the rules of loving Sasha, like a renegade bandit, breaking ceaselessly into a house that glitters, and is just out of reach.

Since getting to know this lovely woman, it's amazing to discover she's even more lovely inside than outside. Her sweetness glows from her soul, adding a luminous quality to her perfect skin that makes you want to beg for a glance and weep to touch it.

But it's just spending time with her that provides the greatest joy. Sasha loves life, and loves sharing her happiness with those around her. And it's a wonderful gift to be able to give her some happiness in return.

I have made many cakes, but I have never been so happy to make one as I was for Sasha's 26th birthday. A woman never deserved it more than she did that day. I didn't do it for me, but I still gained so much from her surprised joy and happy tears.
