Today I traveled out to the Chiller Theatre Convention in New Jersey (had to negotiate buses -- and when I suffer myself to decipher a bus schedule it is an OCCASION). I did not actually attend the convention, though the two-hour line to get in, the impressively costumed attendees, and the interesting-looking bands (Lourdes) handing out flyers for their gig at the after-party all suggest that it would have been very wort... read more

Saturday night was a great one for revelry. I tried to see Circus Contraption's last show in New York, was disappointed to discover they were sold out, and proceeded to make up for the disappointment by hitting some excellent parties with Veronica and friends. We made it to both the Chemistry party in Brooklyn and Kostume Kult's Splashdown in Manhattan. The combo resulted in my s... read more 
Wednesday was another grand Doom Maidens day. The lot of us met up to do a military photo shoot in an abandoned lot near the Brooklyn waterfront.

The most comedic events of the night occured before the shoot even began -- Jolie, Zorikh, and I sat down in this lovely little sidewalk cafe to wait for Veronica. We ordered tea. We sipped our tea.
