about me
I wound up on tribe.net after going on Xingolati and discovering that this is where all the good Xingolati discussions were. A seemingly random sequence of events put me on board Xingolati and I truly had no expectations going into the thing. It was pretty insane, really had a great time, met a bunch of cool people, and pretty much as a result of that, I went to BM for the first time in 2006, where I met even more really cool people.

I love to travel, and recently I've been to Hawaii, Costa Rica, and in the summer of '06 spent about two months backpacking around Europe. I went on Jam Cruise in '06 and '07 and am going again in '08.

When not on the road, I do as many day hikes as I can, mostly in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, the Laguna Mountain area, or Anza Borrego. I love to bike, and do Critical Mass bike rides whenever I can,

I also play keyboards for The Travel Agents and Tic Tac Toast, two San Diego jam bands.

My handle is taken from Charles Hatfield, the infamous San Diego rainmaker: www.sandiegohistory.org/bio/ha...eld.htm
