Seriously, I can't think of many improvements, perhaps some new topics but you do a good job of trying to stir the cauldron. I'd be happy to try to post a topic or two if I can think of anything.

Summertime
(blog entry)
The first day of summer and California’s weather is out to prove it. Triple digits in many places.
For me it’s both a great time of year, I love that the whole world seems filled with life. But it is twinge with sadness as the light begins to ... read more

At last
(blog entry)
Spring is here and happy Ostara to all my Pagan and Wiccan friends.
Winter has been one long and serious aggravation. Work has been painful and my health poor. So I have looked with hope to the new season. Now at last Spring is here. I woke... read more
Pantheacon II
(blog entry)
Pantheacon is always a hoot and this year was no exception. Nothing helps relax one like four days of decadence and debauchery (although right now I'm feeling to much decadence and not nearly enough debauchery).
I attended some interesti... read more

The high point of my year. Beyond spending a relaxing weekend at a nice hotel, I get to do it among houndreds of wiccans and pagans, many friends; some of whom I have not seen in far to long.

For me it’s both a great time of year, I love that the whole world seems filled with life. But it is twinge with sadness as the light begins to wane, and the days grow shorter and summer’s lazy days give way to falls frenetic pace. This year the time since Beltane seems to have passed especially quickly. Ah well no use complaining, just try to enjoy what’s left. Happy Summer Solstice!

Winter has been one long and serious aggravation. Work has been painful and my health poor. So I have looked with hope to the new season. Now at last Spring is here. I woke with a craving for eggs and pulled Beroc as my rune, both good signs. This being California the weather change has not been that pronouced. Still the sun is shinning and it is in the 60's, so I did get out and enjoy the day. Bright blessings and ... read more

I attended some interesting workshops, a concert and a ritual. Of course I did a bit of shopping. I bought a beautiful leather Greenman mask, a real work of art. The hotel hot tub broke down Saturday and was unavailable for the rest of the weekend but despite this traged... read more

I'm not going to geek on about my excitment...but it does help that this is my birthday weekend, and there is a bar and vendor's room there for the convenience of my friends.
I've been looking backwards a bit of late. Things from my distant past springing up unbidden. I have never had an affinity for nostalgia, and even now don't think that my past is longer than my future (always the optimist). I just hope this isn't a view of things to come. I've always thought my past is a nice place to visit for very short periods and then flee. A very odd outlook for a historian I suppose but there it is.
