We all have different and usually sequential stages of our lives. I got pregnant at 18 and the next 15+ years were solely dedicated to my daughter and to not screwing her up. *wry smile* That worked out really very well. She's a delight, and 20! So.... I wasn't done being a mom, yet she moved out and all my estrogen didn't have enough of an outlet with just the pets. :-) So last year my husband and I conceived and last week we decanted her (ouch) and now we have a new outstanding baby...
