I'm finding it frustrating,but I've been trying to learn how to knit...several friends have helped me,I have a book,I'm in a class....but guess what?I'm not exactly catching on. I'd like to host a girl's knit night at my house soon. I think I'm just being hard on myself...other girls have some advantage,like a crafty old Aunt ..or a Mom.I had a Mom with a martini in one hand and a cigarette in the other...not a knitting needle. Maverick's surf contest ended up landing on the big guy's b-day.We went late...note to anyone going in the future...go late and get a good parking spot! We watched most of it on My Space.Caught the last of the Mermen's set on one of the most beautiful Northern California days!! Fun was had by all at the Old Princeston Landing drinking tequila.More fun at the official after party at Mezza Luna's..we arrived through the back door.O course. That's just the way we roll....
