Well the first class at Perishable had a great turnout, including 4 gals new to tribal!! Woot Woot. The space is so nice, big windows, large, and a MARLEY FLOOR!!! I so love that. My "older" gals had never danced on a marley, they now know why I was so tickled to get into this studio. no aching joints, no concrete and linoleum, or other surfaces that really shouldn't be danced on.
can't wait to get back there on Sunday.....

Neylan is moving to Perishable Theater! Come join up for a fun filled and
sometimes silly
afternoon of dance. Tribal Belly Dance is a dance of connection between dancers
as they
move together in group improvisation. It incorporates flavor of traditional
belly dance,
Indian, Flamenco, and North African dance. Then add in Neylan's own personal

well, this week will be weird for me, due to surgeries, vacation, etc I haven't worked a full week since the beginning of December. yucky.....I was getting spoiled with short weeks.

wow, made it through the weekend in one piece. Friday night me and my honey went out with a friend to this fashion show- was ok, kinda hard to see the items due to the crowd. I was pretty tired and didn't make it too long. We left early and was home crashed by 1030.

2 surgeries in a month is not alot of fun. I don't recomend it to anyone. Hopefully I'm done for a very long time and won't need to do anything else other that follow up visits. I'm very tired today, as I'm a bit anemic from the procedures. REALLY glad I didn't go out on a limb and said I'd perform this weekend for the Urban Tribal/Mira Bitz show. It will be enough to make it through teaching all day Saturday, going to the show, then workshops on Sunday. Thankfully next week I'm on vacat...
