So the only reason I joined tribe was to read Kengi's blog. Now it is gone, along with his profile. I don't think that was fair. For what ever reasons it was taken down, a few others who left nasty comments should have been removed as well. This is supposed to be a community that is "respectful and considerate". A lot of people feel duped by Kengi or hurt by him. They are entitled to feel that way. I, however, don't have those feelings. I have a lot of respect for Kengi. I don't blame him a bit for lying about being actually homeless. Society at large ignores the homeless, why would tribe have been any different? As for other things he posted on his blog, that's his personal business and it is not my place to judge him for it. I've done things in my life I'm not proud of either. It has already been said, but he has done a lot to bring awareness to the homeless and got a lot of people to go out and do something. I feel blessed to know him. Everything he has done for the homeless is pretty damn amazing considering he was homeless himself the whole time. He will continue his blog somewhere else and I will continue to read it and support his foundation.
