alix sun does not need another testimonial. ...But I can't help myself. Everything everyone said about the soul sista action, the jingling of tinkle bells, levitation, channelling and so forth. Plus...she can't get me to stop singing the Gun Club anthem "She's like heroin to me", only, about rock and roll, its about a feeling when she looks me in the eye and challenges me to jump...constantly....she smiles with the innocence of evll before Lilith became a rib in Adam's side, and I start singing, "she's like rock'roll to me! SHE"S LIKE ROCK"N"ROLL TO ME! SHE CAN NOT, miss a vein."

alix is stunning in that thorough way - by this i mean that it goes far beyond that jaw-droppingly rockin' body, confidence and beautiful style. the last time i saw her, a year ago, two things involving alix and my head took place. a late night porch jam placed alix's guitar about two inches from la cabeza, allowing me the first-ever REAL opportunity to hear what she could do with the instrument - after a few moments i ceased to hear anyone else playing. a few days later, she took a pair of scissors to my hair. "oh my god, dori, I think i've liberated your curls," she told me, and it's true. it's been a year since that haircut and i've done little to it except lop off a few split ends, and it's still the sexiest haircut i've ever had, liberated curls and all, because alix has a gift for making others beautiful, too. this may sound shallow, but i hope it doesn't - i only had a year or so to get to know her but i'm extremely thankful for the beauty and creativity that alix adds to the world, and to the uniqueness of her character.

She kicks my ass and then kisses it better. She shows me ways I would have never known. Wherever she goes you will hear faeirie wings beating, crystals tinkling, and witches cackeling.
The light is always different when Alix 's sun is around.
She is a world of her own and she welcomes you in with kisses and cuddles then sends you off with a smack and a laugh. Oh yeah, I sho am lucky to have Alix as my sassy soul sister.

alix makes me levitate.
she causes all my cells to hummmm at a higher vibration that lifts me off the ground.
then I get right up next to her, and the impact of the humming is so great, that we cross over
into a whole new domain. like peeling layers of an onion, we just cut to the chace, and get to the juicy, center core of light.
