Reive was born in Sydney, Australia. He explains his terrible lack of an accent on the fact his parents moved to BC's lower mainland when he was only two months old. He also maintains it was this lack of an accent that denied him an incredible sex life during high school (frankly, he's still bitter about that). Reive's fortunes changed when he discovered Vancouver's kink scene in 1993, however. Reive has always been an active volunteer, and has organized several charity fundraisers. Since July of 2000, when he co-founded BIO, he has been organizing events, conferences and workshops for Vancouver's local SM community.
