about me
I love people and I have moved four times in order to keep life interesting and to meet new people and experience new things. I guess you could say I am a thrill-seeker... I cannot stand to be bored or stagnant for long. I love to give advice and am knowledgeable about psychology and Christianity in case you ever want to ask me any questions.
In Your Atmosphere
(blog entry)
Today, I discovered a new song by a familiar artist, John Mayer. It was on a playlist on someone's blog and it really caught my attention. I can't stop listening to it. It's so cool like that, and I'm not even a big John Mayer fan though I was whe...

Magnetic Poetry
(blog entry)
I once read poetry that was created out of a bunch of random words in an email. The resulting poem was always a haiku. I decided to do something similar, and browsed through some old poems and thoughts... picking out only the words that jumped out...

Venti
(blog entry)
So I just rented the movie Role Models, and it is wicked hilarious. The actors and actresses got to help write the script in a lot of places so it seems more real. One of my favorite scenes is when they are in the coffee shop and it's clearly maki...

Introverted
(blog entry)
So yeah, I'm classified as one of the most intense introverts despite the fact that I am very social and outgoing, and some people think I talk too much. However, I really struggle with a day of seeing people event after event. For example, my Su...

The part of the song I really like is when he says, "I don't think I'm gonna go to L.A. anymore" and he sings it in the middle of the song and the rhythm and his tone of voice really struck a chor...

So I just rented the movie Role Models, and it is wicked hilarious. The actors and actresses got to help write the script in a lot of places so it seems more real. One of my favorite scenes is when they are in the coffee shop and it's clearly making fun of Starbucks.
The guy goes "can I have a large black coffee?" and the cashier goes "you mean venti?" and basically they argue back and forth until the guy says "grande means large in Spanish, and in fact Venti is the only one that doesn't ...

So yeah, I'm classified as one of the most intense introverts despite the fact that I am very social and outgoing, and some people think I talk too much. However, I really struggle with a day of seeing people event after event. For example, my Sundays are like that. I see people at church, we go to lunch, we go to bible study, and then we go to somebody's place to hang out. LOTS of different things going on, and it's very exhausting for me. Typically, I would (if I were in college still) ski...

So, I recently have been placing boundaries where there need to be in my relationships with other people. The ironic part is that people with no outgoing boundaries seem to have lots of incoming boundaries. [Example: guy with no boundaries as far as respecting other people, when someone makes a comment about him, he responds with a comment not to ever say anything about him.] The lack of boundaries thing can go far back to your family of origin. If your family had no boundaries, you may find ...
