She commented that it must have highs and lows too...my reply! Yes you are so right!! Sick and ill in 40+ degree heat with no shower and a scary loo! lost on a remote road with three tired kids! all balanced by hot coffee offered by a complete stranger when we got snowed in in the mountains! Interactions in remote homes far from the madness of tourists with people who you share no common language with, and still smile and laugh together! And every now and then finding a treasure which makes my heart skip a beat!! i would nt change my job for the world! glad you like the jewels! Sarah

I am just back from a wonderful buying trip to Morocco, with coffers full of the wonderful jewels of the Berber and Tuareg people. The trip was a huge sucess, I have found items which I considered to be beyond my reach having only seen them in museum collections before . I shall post images here. Please feel free to contact me regarding any of them. I am now working on photos , editing, and adding them all to my online shop. I have around 4000 pieces to take care of so please be patient! ( Patient ..I don't understand the concept!ha ha!) www.vividtrading.com The website is undergoing a complete re write also by me..no rest for the avid gatherer!!, Iam aiming to launch the new version mid Feb!
