thoughts and things.....
recent life.....
Thu, January 10, 2008 - 7:01 PMschool started at the begging of the month, and like everyone i was not looking forward to it.
over the winter break and as of the new year I've revisited my situation, and I've decided to get the hell out of high school and begin my adult life
(a little early)....
Of course because I'm under age i have to have my parental units consent and i thought that was going to be the main challenge, but surprisingly, my mother was extremely understanding of the fact that i can not handle high school and social bullshit that comes along with it.
I want to be able to support myself, and have the freedom each day to express myself in any way i see fit.
her concern was that i would just sit on my ass or spend my time wasting time.
I am perfectly aware that being out of school and trying to be successful is going to be a greater challenge then being in school and having my work handed to me, I feel ready for the challenge of life.
until this point i have felt as if I've been living for everyone but myself, doing what is expected of a adolescent teen. school, family and school.> speaking of which I'm not learning what i feel i need to learn in order to become a independent artist. do i need to know Spanish, algebra, science and all of the above?~ NO!
so I'm getting my GED and getting a job so i can sustain myself, start saving, and eventually travel.
I'm moving on from this stage in my life, and I'm super excited!
theres so much more i could go on and on.....

I know the bare minimum, the rest kinda comes with life (taxes, balancing check books, etc.)
It will be a challenge. bring it on. |

It takes most people years to figure out how to live for themselves. Shit, some never do! Good luck on your journey, I'm sure you'll do well. After all, you're great...
