I only know David through his videos on his website and his Myspace profile,
But I so deeply appreciate his playing. There is something very special and beautiful
in the way he holds, carries, moves and hand dances on the drum....
....... with ease, with precision, sensitivity and devotion.
There is the feeling he is at one with his instrument and so it is very healing and pleasing
for me to witness.
His instructional frame drum DVD, is a high recommend! He is a fantastic
instructor. It is very easy to follow, with excersizes you can practice along....that goes at a perfect
pace . He shares many rhythms, as well as some fantastic solo pieces.
He is also so very generous in the sharing of his passion....making it readily available and
accessible for others to watch and listen to, on his site.
I hope Los Angeles, will be some future destination for you to perform, it would be a blessing.

I met David on Mysapce and just recently received his frame drum, riqq and dumbek tutorial DVDs. They are fantastic to learn from, precise, easy to understand and fun to watch. David ia a remarkable percussionist and I hope to meet him one day. I only know him through his percussion, but from his DVDs, he seems generous and thoughtful with his rhythmic style. Keep the beat!

David, is one of the most talented young musicians I"ve ever had the privilige to
play with..............I've learned a lot from just hanging with this amazing musician
and have incredibly fond memories of walking through the poor, 'pawn shop'
section of Nashville improvising on large stainless steel bowls that we had
bought so that David could help me out with my demonstration of live looping
and found sound techniques at PASIC. We tore it up............lol!
