ARE YOU FREAKING OUT?!

This seems to be the question that most people are asking me as the big day approaches. And truth be told, the answer is a definite...

Nope.

I'm solid. Who knew?

For so long I was always a bit frantic about the Big Stuff. I didn't want to take too much responsibility. What if I screwed it up? How do I know if it will all turn out Ok?!

Well, I don't. I just decided about a year and a half ago that being afraid that something wouldn't turn out right was n... read more

...off. Awwww......

Yeah. Record profits aside, my ex-company went through some re-org and I was cut loose. This is a first for me. And realistically, it's probably a good thing. Unemployment in CA right now is something like 4% and in my industry, it's about 1 1/2 %. Plus I got a hell of a severance, so I'm set for a while. And I've got prospects already and a few irons in the fire.

Still, it was just weird not driving to work on Thursday and Friday. But now, it's really liberating. T... read more

Here's a recent nuggest from our President.

Terrorism "is not our fault," Bush said, paraphrasing recent comments by British Prime Minister Tony Blair. "You do not create terrorism by fighting terrorism."

"If that ever becomes the mind-set of the policymakers in Washington, it means we'll go back to the old days of waiting to be attacked - and then respond," Bush added.

Yes, remember those dark times when we only *responded* to attacks? When we went into countries that had attacked ... read more

Just to let you all know, I am severly limiting my already sparse blogging due to the new changes in the Tribe TOU. If you have anything creative in your blogs that you care about (poems, smart rants, whatever) Tribe has basically given themselves unlimited use of it without any remunieration to you. That is, unless you delete it yourself. So I have delted my blog entry "The Erosion of my Sense of Humor" as it's the only one that I care about and that I want to remain my own.

I've read a ... read more

My Testimonials

July 24, 2005
For almost 7 years now, Tim has been a constant presence in my life. Through various communities, adventures, growth spurts, relationships, changes and new interests. And the more I know him, the more I learn, the more I appreciate and the more I enjoy his company. He is both interested and interesting with a sharp sense of humor, a profound soul, a great taste in movies and overall someone you can just plain count on.

Tall, lean, a walking sub-woofer, and bawdier than a Benny Hill convention. It's in his jeans. I mean, genes.

wow, Timber.. How to sum up in a few words how amazing this man is.
I met Timber about 5 years ago, and he is the most funny, loving, gentle and wonderful soul. I had the fortunate luck of participating in Landmark's really FUN courses, and I will always hold a special, powerful, and quiet place in my heart for him, and he will always be welcome there.

Besides that, he never fails to make me (and the entire party) laugh and he really knows how to have a great time!

Love You Timber!

What can I say? I love him.

Strength, charisma, sex, beauty and sweetness all wrapped up in one man. And he makes me laugh like no one can. I consider myself extremely lucky to be a part of his life, and he of mine.

Who is this man, who chastens the clouds and wind, and they obey him? Who is this man, of song and story? Of Hummingbird Glory? Who is this man, shorn up and down, who is seen about town? Who is this Tim, what they call the First? If it is fine company for which you thirst, meet him before you ride in a hearse, for he's more precious than that which abides in your purse!
