Here's a draft composition for a calendar and bulletin shell for the next month at my church, Cornerstone Church. January sermons will feature stewardship. Recent calendar/bulletins at my church (prior to my arrival and employment) have featured a "Real Something | Real Something Else" tagline with contrasting or complementary elements intended to play off each other. I am staying with that approach since it's been well received.
I'm not real happy with the balance of the typography, but I wanted "faith" to be nested up close to the "trust" in the coin., And after that, I positioned "treasure" somewhere that caused the least amount of visual trouble. Perhaps you can suggest something better?
I gave the silver nickels a coppery/sepia treatment as its simply more visually interesting for this piece than the simple silver tones. You may disagree.
I like the happy coincidence of "liberty" being positioned right above the church's flag logo, too.
I like it, but perhaps you will have critique. I welcome it!
Rich.
(I built this off of ,a photo I took earlier this year.)
