Etta and I have been friends since I (or she) joined tribe, and lived in the same tribes sharing time with wonderful people. I've watched Etta find belly dance and flourish and it fills my heart with joy to see someone find themselves like that. It's an example for everyone to follow: find your joy thing and run with it.

Be careful. Etta lies. She says she is shy. I don't think so. She hoops. She belly dances. She holds her own and then some against her tribes' punsters. No, not shy. Not shy at all. Oh yeah ... she's kind, and interesting too. And she speaks sign. So if you ever meet her in person, when you think she's just waving, she may actually be calling you a really, really bad name. Be careful.

Etta is one of those rare gifts you find when you least expect it. She’s got great spirit. She shines. And she’s fun. And I’ve only just scratched the surface. I can’t wait to learn more about her.

I have really found a hobby that truly frees me. It stirs my creative juices. It teaches me to embrace my womanly body. It helps me find my rhythm and soul down deep inside. It's a great workout. It's just one of my favorite things to do. You get to dress up in fun costumes and slither around. The hubbies love it, too!! Believe Me!

Some very painful personal situations have been happening to me and my family. I can't go into detail, but, it's one of those things that you simply cannot *fix* or even sweep under the rug to deal with later.

Well, I got back from my vacation in Puerto Rico, and, I already miss the relaxation and rest and fun I had. It was truly the most fun vacation I've ever had...well...it's the ONLY "real" vacation I've ever had. We went to the Copa Marina Beach Resort in Guanica, which is in south west PR. It just happens to be in a "dry forest" as opposed to a rain forest. We didn't get a drop of rain...just blue blue skies, breezes from the Caribbean, and lots of wonderful sunshine, and drinks, and food...

2 and 1/2 cups crunchy pnut butter 1 and 1/2 cups shortening 1 and 1/2 cups oatmeal (doesn't matter as long as it isn't flavored) 2 cups wild bird seed mix or black oil sunflower seeds up to 2 cups of any leftover berries, fruit, etc, even apples and the leafy tops of the strawberries wil work.
