I grew up in Santa Cruz California, living in the redwoods and surfing the beautiful ocean. I was introduced to electronic dance music in 1990 by a friend in Tokyo Japan. The Tokyo Techno and Tech House underground events blew my mind, and I soon found myself walking to a different drum.....a fat 808 4/4 kick! I moved back to my native Santa Cruz California in 1991, where I found a blosoming Underground scene of wearhouse parties and free beach full moon parties. The great vibes and atitudes of the people, and the incredible music I experienced, inspired me to get a pair of turntables and start mixing records. That's when House Music took hold of me and never let go. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of incredible people there in the early days, and had some amazing experiences, so Santa Cruz will always hold a special place in my heart.

I moved from Santa Cruz to Honolulu Hawaii with my girlfriend Treena, where I taught her how to surf while she earned her masters degree at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu. Hawaii is still a bright shinning memory that fills me with warmth whenever it finds it way into my mind. Ahh...spinning at outdoor parties in paradise! We came back to Carmel California to get married. Little John (Rain Dance) threw down a fat and long funky house set at the reception, that got all the aunts and uncles groovin on the dance floor! Priceless! It was a blast. Then onto Humbolt County when Treena landed a great job there. The new addition to our family, baby girl Faerosa was born on May 2nd 2007........and so here we are, the adventure continues...........~
