I am a California girl with a four year stint in Manhattan under her belt. So NYC rubbed of on me in a few ways: 1) The love of tall, impractical shoes 2) Night Owl Syndrome, 3) Urbanite... surburbs with family sized packages of commercial goods scare me. I am a study in contradiction - I feel at home in everything from society galas to Burning Man. I am a little bit of a disco girl and a little bit of science nerd with a dash of self-improvement junkie thrown in. Oh and by the way, in case you didn't pick up on the Food TV thing. I am a foodie. I am addicted to Food Network... I spend my free time pouring over food and restaurant articles and creating extravagant meals.
