Grew up in a small town where everyone knew everything about their neighbors. Left there as soon as I could and have no plans of going back for more than a visit now and then. Now that we are in 2007 I am looking forward to spending time with friends and family and maybe even trying my luck at the whole relationship thing again. Didn't work out the last time I tired but......it evidently wasn't suppose to.

big day @ cleveland clinic
ok so got up this morning after our little snow storm yesterday and had to drive up to Cleveland for my step-dad's surgery to remove colon cancer that was found back in September. He went through all the chemo and radiation with flying colors all but the last week. Got to enjoy a few weeks in Fl before a blood clot showed up and had to be taken care of. why is it that when someone lets you down you can't just accept what they did and move on? Why must we spend so much time trying to get answers to questions that we probalby don't want to know the answer to?

getting over a broken heart
Today is day 14 of no contact with my X. No e-mails, no text messages, no phone calls. I haven't done any of that for 2 weeks now. I know that he can't make me happy right now. That he can not give me what I need and want out of life, but I still fell like I love him. I'm hoping that the feeling will subside in time but patience is not a virtue of mine. I really wanted to call him today but I've come 14 days without doing that and I did not want to have to start over again.
