big day @ cleveland clinic

ok so got up this morning after our little snow storm yesterday and had to drive up to Cleveland for my step-dad's surgery to remove colon cancer that was found back in September. He went through all the chemo and radiation with flying colors all but the last week. Got to enjoy a few weeks in Fl before a blood clot showed up and had to be taken care of. Bad little Clot! :) My sister and I drove up this morning to be there and see him before he went into surgery. It's a good thing we saw him before hand because he went in at 1pm and @ 8pm, they said he's still in recovery and you might as well go home. The good news is that the cancer had not spred and that they got it out. Yeah!!!

why do I care?

so I tired to talk to the x today and what a big mistake that was! He coaches the punters/kickers at a local college and they happen to be 6-0 this season. I merely sent a message to him telling him congrats on the season so far and good luck this weekend, as it is a big game for them. I sent this to his work e-mail as I did not think it was that big of a deal. I was trying to be nice. So much for that! His reposne (to my home email because he did not want to involve work) was along the lines that he doubted I was trying to save a friendship as it's not in my nature and wondered why after I told my friends to make him go away that I was sending him an e-mail. My bad, guess I can't say something nice to the x! The main thing is that he says that there was too much bitterness between us at the end. Duh! he broke my heart into a million pieces and I refused to give the ring back! I guess there are just some people in this world that you can not just be frineds with.

Hi all! Made it back before the earthquake, thank goodness! I've posted a few pics that I took with the digital camera, have to wait to get the rest back from developing as I still love my SLR and film. Will have those up by the end of the week! Take care!
