      <title>Too grumpy to "network"</title>
      <link>http://people.tribe.net/a205012f-2949-4c75-9145-ac9babd1f432/blog/6fe57b05-af1d-41c6-a3a4-72d9c81d6d9b</link>
      <description>&lt;div&gt;Hi people on tribe,&#xD;
&#xD;
At this point, I've stopped "friending" anyone I don't know in RL (yes, I'm sure there may eventually be exceptions, but that's my call).  I may even start removing people from my friends list, especially if they never post/blog, or if I just don't feel that connected to them.  I guess I'm just not that into the whole racking up points thing.  I also dislike the implication of a character reference.  The whole thing seems phony.&#xD;
&#xD;
I know it's odd to say that bit about the posting/blogging, since I never do it myself.  But that's how I feel.  I really appreciate the blogs of some of the people here whom I've never met, but I don't plan to give back with blogs of my own.  Anyone looking to add me should be aware of that.&#xD;
&#xD;
OK, that's enough honesty for now.  Happy Monday,&#xD;

										&lt;div&gt;I'm on the tech crew for "Belly, American Style", the new Basimah Kamar bellydance show.  It's a fabulous and funky part of the Minneapolis Fringe Festival.  Come check it out!&#xD;
