Have got to learn . . .

how to recreate this awesomely cute and sexy hair. If I had attempted that, the profanity would have been heard in Timbuktu.

The correct, key phrase to hairdresser: "I'm going out dancing tonight." =)

Sweetie pie, it's called rollers and texturizers. Really not hard. Hell, if it can be done to my hair, it can be done to anyone's. I'm assuming the stylist used a curling iron? Try using rollers instead. It's less time-consuming, more effective, and you can go do other things while your hair sets. It's a handy thing.

But with the fine texture of your hair, the texturizers are critical. I'm personally a HUGE fan of Redken's Rewind Styling Paste, and styling clay (no particular brand), though I have no problems with gel, in a pinch.

Just get out of the shower, and while your hair is still DAMP (not wet), smear some goop in, working in all the way from the roots to the ends, dry it the rest of the way, and start rolling on hot rollers. Wait about 20 minutes (this is when it's ideal for doing things like your makeup and costumery), and unroll your hair, revealing ringlets. Spray with hairspray (not spray gel--too heavy), scrunch with your fingers, and go with it.

And you look SOOO great here! You should make this your main photo!

I feel you. When I leave my hairdressers, my hair is glossy and straight. It is SO different. I can not do the look because I won't sit there with a straightening tool for an hour.

Great Pic, great do!
