I've loved to sing all of my life. My dad cautioned me that it is hard to make a living singing and that I could always sing so it was very important to get an education and a career. So I did.

I finished my bachelor's degree and went to work in sales, management, management consulting, training then back to sales. I thought I'd go back into the corporate life after a few years in the school of hard knocks.

By that time, the idea of going back INSIDE the corporation was repugnant! I was having fun and making too much money.

I met my husband competing for business. One thing led to another and we ended up opening our own mortgage originating branch (I haven't had a vacation since). I always figured that doing things efficiently AND honestly would earn me an early retirement. Not so. We don't deceive people, commit loan fraud or violate RESPA. With the home values seriously decreasing in Michigan, 7% unemployment and unscrupules competition, we need to find another way to pay the bills.

I started the music business because I needed something to keep me sane and have fun once in a while. I decided to use my inheritance to record a CD (instead of using it all up paying bills).

I'm committed to my music and having faith that I will be able to support myself, one way or another. My songs will tell you the short story.
