This girl has been my bestest friend for over 25 years, now. I know where the bodies are buried. And she knows where mine are. I don't think either of us are tellin'.................

I've known her for awhile now - recently reconnected. She's crazy and well, crazy. But that good kind of crazy (the non-restraining-order kind of crazy). At first I thought she was just one of the many voices inside my head, but it turns out she's real!!! *squeeeeeeee*

Wicked is a product of genome from the four corners of Earth, no more than two generations away from a Kwisatz Haderach, were she to choose to breed. Of course, as a matter of modesty, she would deny this, but her experiences with the psychic and spiritual, her uncanny gifts for survival and foresight and her awareness of the shadow realms belie her true origins and nature. Wicked is the Winter Queen, whose gaze can chill to the soul, but whose hearth is warm and welcome to friends. She’s the Accidental Samurai, wayward, perhaps, in the tradition of knights errant, bound by honor to champion the good fight, though not always by choice.
One principle of sympathetic magic suggests that a visage of a person takes a piece of his or her soul, such that many archipelagic societies still forbid photography. Those who doubt this notion may find themselves thinking again once they encounter Wicked’s portraiture. A painting of hers that depicts one you know will feel like that individual; it will capture his or her essence in an additional dimension you took for granted only in the living; beauty and beast within are revealed plain in acrylics or oils for all to see. In Wicked’s creations, in seeing what she sees, one learns that glimmer and gloom invariably intermingle within every single soul. Not all that is gold glitters, and not all that glitters is gold. And often one’s greatest treasure remains to be unearthed.
But this presents a good metaphor for Wicked, herself: the queen’s mirror that reflects the truth, magnified or distant as necessary. Wicked presents a sevenfold reflection of what you show her. Like her paintings, requests for tarot readings and spiritual advice, as sound as all of these may be, are to be approached with caution. As is true to any quest for insight, before one can answer a question, one must be prepared to hear the answer. Allow that you may not be the fairest of them all (but are still pretty darn fair) and the truth will serve you well. If not... The joy of this is that we are all better for it. Wicked likes real people who can accept being in their own skins and in their own minds (or are, at least, on a path to get there). Why obsess over a pale little girl when you are queen of the land, and gorgeous in your own right?
