Life, the universe and everything...

My life has been anything but like Hitchhiker's Guide...*thinking* ...or has it?
Haven't traveled in space, but my head has been in alternet spaces. It's been a year since I have posted last and during that time I have gained the housewife I have always wanted. The cute doglet as my main picture and other then the move I was going to make to AZ, I have a good life.

Tomorrow
Tomorrow would have been
my mom's seventyith birthday
But sorry to say her spirit went
away and her body we turned
to ashes.
A month, a hair more has passed
today and I think of the mom I had
such a strong love, hate, love
relationship with.
We agreed to disagree a few years
before the end and with that I could
look at her again as a friend.
The only mom I ever wanted to have
is now with both the dad and stepdad.

I'm sitting here...
trying to get the energy together to get a cup of coffee. Yawning and wanting to sleep, but if I do go to bed this early (not even 10pm for me) I will be up before the ass crack of dawn and I'm not sure I want to be up that early either. I know my body is slowly getting used to the time change thing and wishing we didn't have to live by such stuff, but I guess that's part of being "civilized".

Ahhh, the joys of the day off.
I have done very little today except enjoy my day off. Next one is on Weds. and I will enjoy that one too.
I know what I want to do, I know how to get where I want to get, I've done it before. I just have to get my arse in gear and go.
First off order a couple more of my books of poems, then the wild idea of sending one to a known personality, who is big on books and reading. Have to find the snail mail addy. This can be done.

Mondays...
So many hate mondays, but when you work retail and get weird days off monday is no better or worse then any other day.
Today was good for me though, got lots done, got to talk with folks.
I love days like today at work.
