about me
I'm not to sure about this "Bio" thing. I don't often write about myself. Hmmmm? I like to move. I like bellydancing and have taught, performed, and meditated with bellydance. I'll demo moves for anyone at the drop of a bit of music. Dance is a language and I'm a motor mouth:) This is the most I can think of for the moment. Well, It's later and I've thought of more :) I've been working in the othernessfor most of my life...I became very private about the whole thing when I was in high school -all together to emberassing;)=)..(and my spelling can be the same) I am an artist and am finally getting the concept of art on the computer.
I've been teaching "spiritual " stuff for most of my adult life and seem to be driven to follow through on it. I am a seer. My friendly Shaman and I decided to start a tribe for folks who have been doing this sort of work for many years. Hence, the current name for the tribe...:) that might change with time as I've kind of leapt ahead. I'm working on my second tarot interpretation book and my fifth Id work book and I am about to tear my hair out over editors...*arghhh!!!!* I have a feeling this could get to be a long bio:) I remember some of the games we played with gram when we were little - I didn't know then that when we played with a silver bowl/silver pins and water we were learning the disipline necessay for dealing with the otherness or that learning about the bowls and web of life was teaching us about energy, how to direct it etc. I was blessed :) one grandmother a medium, the other a seer and herbwoman. I was taught to move energy in a knowing way and how to understand and direct my abilities. I've been active in the otherness since before I started school.

Re: Good card ..bad position??

Hi,
I believe how you interpret cards relies on how you perceive - kinesthetic (often has to put effort into finding the right word, receives feelings, emotion, energy etc.) - visual (receives images, movement, geographical locations, words com... read more discussion post on Fri, November 13, 2009 - 10:41 AM

Hey :),
How about transitions...from one move to another, from one aspect of music to another and from one quadrant of the stage to another...:)those are the most obvious transitions. Another one is creating a dialouge with your audience to dr... read more discussion post on Fri, November 13, 2009 - 10:28 AM

Hi,
The cards themselves are niether good or bad nor do we read the cards in isolation. Don't forget to consider the cards around the one you are reading and how they moderate it. *grin* a card is not bad because it warns you of a possible p... read more discussion post on Fri, October 23, 2009 - 10:51 AM
Re: How formal are your toupe guidelines?
(in Belly Dance Troupe Talk)
Hi :)
I have formed and worked with several different troupes over the years. The first thing I be came aware of is each troup has it's own personality depending on it's core members. I always sat down with the members and formed the operati... read more discussion post on Fri, October 23, 2009 - 10:43 AM

The Moon The Moon expresses the need to exist in the moment. It is also the keeper of the mysteries of existence. Astrologically the Moon is associated with the sign of Pisces. The image on this card shows The moon herself at her fullness but with the shadow on her crescent high above. Two towers stand one on each side of a path going to far off mountains. Two dogs bay at her glow. There is a pool of water at the bottom ... read more

13 Death With this card we change old concepts for new. The act of creation necessitates the opposite destruction to allow the energy to create once again. Do not ever predict death when this card comes up in a layout. This card speaks of renewal, change, a new life that st... read more

I have been meaning to write this for a while, so no time like the present...
I met Linda about 3 years ago through her daughter Nerissa. Since Nerissa and I were arch enemies (at the time), our initial meeting was probably a bit awkward. Who would have thought back then that she would become such an important person in my life. Obviously a great deal has changed since our first meeting... Linda has become my teacher and mentor and a very good friend. Linda has helped me realize my potential (not just in bellydancing, but in life). And most importantly, Linda has helped me reconnect with my body and my spirit. Linda has so many gifts, I could not possibly list them all. But among other things, she is an amazing teacher, truely one of the best dancers I have ever known (a dancer's dancer), and she is incredibly wise (sometimes too wise ;)). I am truely grateful to be among her students and one of her friends. What else can I say except Thank You. Shauna Jayne Bellerose. January 18, 2007
I would like to take this opportunity to write some words about Linda Hannah-Meyer. Linda is my Mom. She is also the Mom to my three sisters...and Grandma to Keisa, Corbin, Eve, Sierra....and Skye. I am very fortunate to have a close relationship with her. She has alot of deep wisdom...a very very old soul. I feel like I have barely scratched the surface. I grew up learning from her - bellydance 'spiritual stuff', art, writing....and most of all how to treat people and interact with them in a positive way. She taught me there are repercussions for my actions...that no matter how small a negative action or even thought may be - the universe will balance itself out...and there WILL be negative payback (important lessson-Nerissa still learning hard way...). Linda is not only wise, but generous, an amazing friend, positive, good willing, benevolent, strong &powerful. And some other 'spiritual stuff' talents...for sure. If you need advice on anything...dance, art, spirit, whatever..Linda is the person to ask. She is a natural born dancer. I have been doing intensive dance studies with her for 3 and 1/2 years....and I mean INTENSIVE!!!! and...she constantly suprises me with her original move combination creations. As a bellydancer - I can tell you this - take a moment to try one of Linda's moves off the Linda Hannah-Meyer tribe...they are brilliant. And this is her daughter saying this...not biased as I have studied with several famous dance instructors; and every time I go, I see moves that Linda has already taught me.The old addage is true - to find happiness look no further than your own backyard. And thats literal (in my case) because Linda lives in the same apartment building as me!! So - welcome to my backyard. Thanks Mom for being an amazing Mom and Grandma, for being there and being you and being everything.
I love you. N.
