The wind did blow
as my heart slow beats
and every fiber of me creeps.

This bitter eve has become quite cold,
I inhale this life and feel so old.

I look up at this darkened sky
and with all of me I wonder,
Why?

Suffer the day &
submit to the night,
To die every day
this lesson of life.

Between these blinks I'll open my eyes,
look out beyond this void and
die.
Chaotic rhythm in my ears,
breathe in this pulse without any fear.

Those few tongues,
whose light would preach,
chant this lyric and come to teach.
Word.
Power.
Speak.

A collective glance at this lightened sky
they look for a twinkle,
find none, and cry.
Blink away the day and hide behind these lids,
never embrace this sun and realize it's significance.

Bring to ruination the intelligent mind,
who pursues light that makes him blind.
Unshield their eyes from realities burn
the closest twinkle
the brightest one.
