Merry Meet! My name is Missy. I grew up in Appalachia Alabama and I am Cherokee and Chickasaw. I am from a long line of musicians, artists and practitioners of pow wow folk magick. I am an old school Goth Punk. I would describe myself as eccentric, you may call me "goth" but what is a goth anyway but a nerd that dresses well? I am into Fetish, fire and freaky things. I am mostly harmless. I love Nerdy men. I am a psychiatric nurse, mom to three batlings, a Wiccan priestess and eccentric as hell. My dream is to become a fire dancer. I am learning to belly dance, hoop and I am a very happy bruised and bloodied student of Controlled Burn Reno. I am learning to spin poi. I have always been a pyro at heart and have always dreamed of dancing with fire. When most children begged for toys I begged for matches.

Moving On
O.k. Just so you guys know I am moving back to Colorado. My house has toxic black mold in the proportions only gasoline can cure and that is why my entire family is deathly ill. I have not been able to come to class because I have been so damn sick. I feel fine at work. We knew something was wrong when all of our small pets started dying. Having a "Britney" moment
Fuck. Today is not a good day. I have not been "well" in months really. I posted some pics of my new look. I suspected that it was bad but I did not realize how bad it truly was until I cut my hair off today. I figured since it was falling out in clumps that I would defeat it by beating it to the punch. I am sooo fucking bald! Just a few months ago I had thick and lovely hair. Never ever take your health for granted.

So I have been learning poi for the past month from some of the best teachers and friends a person could have. The most dangerous thing that could happen is you might take a boot to the head or a skin head might decide to kick your ass. People took care of each other. There was never the fear of death.

First of all I want to say thank you to Cody for being so nice and making me feel welcome to join Controlled Burn. I cant wait to meet everyone and get started training. I will probably start the week after next. I am going to the first show that I have been able to go to since moving to Reno. I am going to see NOFX! O.k. I am an old punk rocker I will admit it.
