I have known Ryl for about 5 years now. She is my dearest friend and confidante. Last year, Ryl and her fiance and family pirated me away to my very first Pennsic. I can't hardly wait until I can make it back to Pennsic. Ryl's family is going to be moving about an hour away from me in the very near future. Very good for them, not so good for me =( But, I wish them all the happiness in the world in their new home!

She was always enthusiastic and fun and highly skilled and she shared what she knew for a very reasonable price. I had no idea what this meant at the time, but her first teacher was Suhaila Salimpour. To me, that was unimportant. All that mattered was that I was finally learning the danc...

The time is getting closer for us to be moving into our new house. We have 20 days left before we sign all the final paperwork and take our drumming and dancing selves in to 'warm the place up' a bit. I can't wait to unpack and dig out all my costuming. It's all been hiding away in boxes since February along with most everything I own except for my laptop, a few books, and a very few crafty things like embroidery and knitting and my CD's and weights. I have been living on a pittance of 2 ...
