Caprice (An instrumental work with an improvisatory style and a free form) J. Caprice has been an underground DJ for 10 years playing all over Texas and the midwest. Based out of Dallas J. blends the sounds of tech house with just the right touch of jazz & funk. J. Caprice has played along side numerous fixtures in EDM such as John Larner, Spettro, Deepfeel, Face, Sona, DJ Booth, DJ Nitro, WIlhelm K., 3D and many others.
When asked what moves him the most behind the 1&2s he says "the people when they are moving I am too, music is a big part of ones soul and when people can feel that they let theirs go" Starting in the winter of 96 J. started his journey in to the underground community. Originally from a small town in Indiana (Terre Haute) J. traveled throughout the mid west in search of his sound. A few month later and he had it Chicago house. starting off was slow house parties , afterhours , and some outdoor events were steady but it got him ready for bigger and better things. In late 98 J packed his things and set off to see what Texas had to offer.

By 99 J. had been signed on by the one and only Just Don't Stop Productions (J.D.S) and everything picked up from there. Playing shows throughout the midwest and Texas, J. was picking up a pretty good following. J. has spun at some of Texas's top clubs ( Wild Club, Planet A, R&R, and a 2 year weekly @ the Velvet Hookah just to name a few).Now liveing in Dallas J. has started a hole new vison for his fan base with Abandon House Family(A.H.F).A.H.F is a family of fine tuned musician that bring more then music to our underground community they bring heart & soul.
