I'm still figuring out who I am and what I can do. So far I have this much:

I like either realism or obvious fantasy in film and TV. If you show me a sitcom or an Adam Sandler movie, chances are pretty high that I won't like it.

I want to go back to Hawaii and St. John USVI some day. I hate how online dating is being shoved at everyone left and right. I am expanding my palate, trying new fruits and cheeses and such. I enjoy grocery shopping, unlike some people. I think it is fun to see what is available in a market and figure out what I can do with it. I like living near the ocean.

I am trying hard not to live by fear-dictated emotions. Just because it is different does not mean it is bad or wrong. I keep trying to accept that there is no "supposed to" in life. I live my life passionately and feel emotions deeply. I am a romantic at heart, even though I get discouraged I will find real love. For many years I have had trouble with bad self-confidence and am working to correct that to trust myself and my judgments. I have been hurt badly twice in the last year and am taking time to get to know myself and gather my strength back. I am grateful for my friends and the compassion and help they have offered me. I am frustrated by some of my family and their close-minded-ness.

I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart. I love watching thunderstorms. I'm a big geek, but not as big a geek as I could be. I love hula hooping in the loading bay of the accelerator building where I work at nighttime. I love strawberry shakes, and raw pineapple.

And just remember, if you have to think about it, the answer is "no."
