To calm the rising tides.
In the mix of blending beats
when I realize

so long to get here.

To even feel the vinyl underneath this shape,

Pulling back the revolutions,
Pulling back the layers of fear.

In the absence of anyone's presence
but my own,
I feel the need to ask:

What is it that I fear, exactly?

Letting go doesn't seem to capture
my struggle anymore.
Embracing that which awaits
seems
to be more at pace with this mood,
this mood,
that I am faced.
My face.
My own face.
My own reflection,
puzzles me,
the most.

In a universe that never forgets to remind me...
I am nothing of my own,
just the reflection of fallen star dust,
captured in prismatic light.
