So last night was my three year anniversary of being a rave promoter, I was having a great day, relaxed and coming down off ENERGY (Which happened to be off the fucking hook!) So we depart from Eugene around 11 PM headed up the mountain for Deadwood Revival 3... an event I started three years ago, I no longer organize it.. I was just set to headline the Psy stage. WELL THAT NEVER HAPPENED, instead we get to the road that leads us up to the event and we are stopped by the sheriff only to realize the fucking man has come to the mountain with drug dogs and black unmarked SUV's. State troopers, Sheriffs and FBI raided my friends event in a very sketchy manner. Never actually going to the event they waited on the road up there stopping people and searching their cars. Luckily the people in our car in possession of marijuana were legal (myself and a friend) but that didn't stop them from taking my pipe and my friends 20 grams of quality medication... "Your card doesn't mean dick on federal land" they said... "If you want to make this an issue we can have your card taken from you" they said. FUCK YOU STUPID PIGS I AM A PATIENT, TREATING MY SICK BODY IS NOT A CRIME AND I AM NOT A CRIMINAL FOR WANTING TO LIVE WITHOUT PAIN... I am so angry. Naturally being a civil liberties law student I wanted to make a scene, but my friends were in the car and we drove away in silence...

Well, here it is! I have spent the last week and a half working my fingers to the bone on this for all you beautiful people, and we look forward to see lots of PDX Psy family down here in Eugene as our Psy scene grows! Deep love from WAO Events!

2008 SCHEDULE:

August 29th's ENERGY will feature local Haus artist Dave-D-Luxx, and one other Gaia Haus artist. Also, Trance artist Yogi as well as WAO resident Trance artists Penguin and TempesT.





September 26th's ENERGY will feature WAO resident Haus artists DJ Sun Amuk and TempesT as well as Trance Live/DJ Hybrid Airsine (B-Grade and Makoi-Portland OR), Blue Spectral Monkey (Portland OR), and local Trance artists Zoopy and Facehead.





October 31st's ENERGY will be a very special all Psytrance Halloween night event!!! WAO will be flying RANDOM in from San Fransisco on Hallow's Eve for a Live Psytrance PA performance, also feat. local Psytrance artists Deko, Psunspot, TempesT and Penguin.





November 28th's ENERGY will feature local Haus artist Micheal Human, Haus artist Ekim(Portland OR), local Breaks artists Sofa King Cool and Big Daddy Scamp as well as Trance artist Blue Submarine(Portland OR).


December 26's ENERGY is still only a possiblitly due to the holiday season, more soon!


PLANS FOR 2009 AND BEYOND...

WAO Events has plans to start semi regularly flying Producers from all over the world to come play Live PA sets here in Eugene.



We are currently talking with The Fractal Cowboys (San Fransisco), Mubali (San Fransisco), Hux Flux (Sweden), Project Overlap (Russia), Alternative Control (Yugoslavia) and many others so keep your eyes open for once in a life time acts coming to ENERGY from across the globe!

ENERGY is held regularly @ the World Flavors Cafe right downtown: 1044 Willamette street! Only 5 @ the door for 10,000 watts of sound and some of the best underground musicians in the North West. Doors open @ 11PM and music goes until 4AM.
