Basics:

So after Complaining/begging/etc for an MRI since January, ta da! My doc leaves a messages stating: "this pain you are experiencing and the extra bone you said you see/can feel on your foot are actually there, you have Accessory Navicular Syndrome (the 7 tarsal bones a person has have turned into 8 for me! Weird!) and a chronic torn ligament(s) (my massage therapist and I discussed it and figured it's prolly extensor digitorum, which does pretty much all upward movements of the foot esp the toes)
She left this as a VM a week or 2 ago and still hasn't found the time to call me back and answer some of my questions.
Luckily, before getting more than an Xray; I did get approved for 100% coverage for anything thru OHSU (pretty easy to do once you know the right people to go to so anyone in Portland in need of medical care FOR FREE hit me up on the details...)

I just wonder how the Radiology dept. or any of the Dr's looking at it did not see AN EXTRA BONE IN MY FOOT! Even with my minimal kines training and such, pointed something weird out when looking at it to my doc....
And, another HA!
The cast may have actually helped keep the bone from protruding even more, if I had kept it on longer or gotten one when I "sprained" my ankle as a kid.
Seeing Orthopedics in late Jan (their earliest appointment) to see what can be done...
*and a lil pat on the back for me doing yoga every day, for the past few months since I couln't afford PT anymore.. !! I think I will be falling less often cause mah feetsies are so much stronger :)

Hayden Meadows Pet Clinic was gr8, PJ is nice n high on kitty morphine and hasn't stopped purring since I brought him home.

There is even an office cat that perches all day on the printer teehee this made me feel even more comfortable.

The people are super nice, not pushy if you are poor and explain all options/prices of each thing/etc.

Highly recommend them!

dear hydro gave me a good vet to go ta .. has an appt tomorrow at 9 am to get a full dental with a 15% discount :)
