I officially adore Amy! She is that wonderful mix that we all hope to come into contact with -- she is kind, thoughtful, sweet, talented, funny, and a joy to be around. I feel so lucky calling her a friend!

I *love* Amy, my ex. We fight less and we talk more. All this can be yours too, ladies and gents. Just break up. Also, it helps if your relationship was non-existent.

i checked out the maze beneath the man, lo and behold it was very, very similar to the one in my dream... high walled wooden labrynth maze with multiple rooms and playa citizens rejoicing, chatting it up, socializing. wow, glad i got to share my premonition with you. glad to see your work there.

Below is a link to see photos of the progress in building of the art installation Ellis Island - Black Rock City which will be displayed next month at Burning Man and then burned. Much thanks to Carl, Matt Franklin and Hulot for the time and energy they are contributing to making this vision a reality. We are working hard and having fun doing it.

The phone rings and it is my surgeon's office. The surgery I had two weeks ago (surgery number 5) did not get all the cancer cells and now I have to schedule my sixth surgery in the past 10 months. Neverending doctor visits, forms to fill out, giving blood, EKGs, anesthesia, green hospital gowns, and pills.

Life is unfair. Once again. I don't know whethe... read more

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!

Or, at least are in the midst of the process. Our offer has been accepted. I know - doesn't look like much in this photo, but this is an awesome deal. Southern Catskills. 2 hours from the city. 1400 square feet with a basement of 1100 plus a giant porch and a wrecked swimming pool. It is on 1.7 acres in a fabulous neighborhood - in Catskill park near the Rodout reservoir. It is the crappy house in the nice neighborhood. We are going to rehab and fix it up massively.
