Silas-- hoodayumn. I'm still amused when I remember, as I watched him on the Rocky Horror Picture Show stage, thinking "I will never know this person. He's so enthralling, so charismatic, and so brave..." and then somehow managing to walk up onto a different stage with him and lubricating his nipples and pulling his pants down with my teeth, then getting to know him as a sincere and true friend. Silas, I love you. You are truly a guide to the self. *HUGSSQUISH!*

about me
I will have my first novel out to an agent by 2008. It's a fictional story loosely based on my experiences as a street performer in Europe, in a style that is a meld of Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, and Christopher Moore, with a dash of Nabakov.

More personally, I am friendly, generous, and playful. I love people and sensuality. I used to spent a good amount time being very smart, until I decided that it's nice and all but I'd rather be kind and have fun.

With extremely limited exceptions, I've been polyamorous since I began dating eleven years ago, but at this point I do not want to limit myself with any boxes or labels, even such an inclusive one.

I'm also a monkey cat (but more of a cat than a monkey.)

The best thing about being an entertainer is I can spend three hours of my day watching The Office and convince myself it's for work.

I've been thinking about who are my inspirations for writing. At first I thought it was a small list, but now I can look at my book and really see all these different aspects that I never intended. Hell, it worries me, because I could see how easy it would be to unintentionally plagiarize someone else's work. I'm usually reading 5 books at a time, and finish about 2-3 a week. I have fears that I'm going to publish my novel, and then a year down the line someone is going to point out that ... read more

The best book I'm reading right now is "The Way of the Superior Man." I recommend it for anybody who thinks they may have a inherent masculine essence, *especially* if they are in a relationship with a feminine partner. I say this even though I've always felt very fluid about my gender and thought of my partner as more masculine than I. After reading through this book, I've become convinced that I have a masculine center, which is an incredible discovery.

As soon as I wrote that, I bega... read more

I don't know if anyone will read this if I type it. But I need to tell as many people as I can.

I just completed the first draft of my novel!

375 pages, a full completed manuscript, one year in the making.

It will be worked on for another 15 or so months, to be read and polished, and then marketed.

I can't believe I actually wrote it.

But if you want to send congratulations (this thing was a lot of work), please do so. DarkandStormyknight@hotmail.com

Much love to all,
