Herne has consistantly exhibited introspection, insight, tolerance, and a keen intelligence. He is also one of those people who is willing to put his money where his convictions are. That's rare enough in itself. Combined with all of this is the willingness to examine new to him concepts and test them to his satisfaction hands-on. We need a lot more people who parallel his approaches.
