I guess I'll write something

Immortality Escapes Us All.

Immortality escapes us uall.
In the end we finally decide
to let go of being.

Floating in the flow.
Is the droplet aware of the
transpiration? Molecules
divided and remade.
A plant grows.

Trees live longer than humans.
Humans longer than weeds.
But there is no length to
Immortality. Only the mortal ages,
What is not mortal
never dies, has never lived.
Immortality is within us each.
Immortality goes on without.

Dalai Lama Quote of the Week

...We can't blame one individual for what happens in our world. I think we should blame our entire society. Society produces our leaders and politicians, and if we try to develop a more compassionate and affectionate society, we will have human beings with a more peaceful nature. Got this sent as a MySpace bullitine. Thought it would be appreciated here. There is no stopping the "herd"!

WASHINGTON, DC-The indigenous North American hippie population has expanded
to the point that its teeming herds are endangering the planet's fragile
freakosystem, warned a Department of the Interior report released Monday.

According to the report, over the past 20 years, the wide-ranging, largely
migratory hippies have more than tripled in population, insidiously

Dulce et Decorum Est
—By Wilfred Owen
Utne Reader September / October 2007 Issue

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,
Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through
sludge,
Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs
And towards our distant rest began to trudge.
Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots
But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind;
Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots
Of tired, outstripped Five-Nines that ... read more

Was going to blog about the nice weather, but now it is cold and windy. And they make it worse by saying no rain is coming. I wish the ignorant weather forcast repeaters would not dump their desires upon all of us. I want some rain!

Anyhow. There was a night of 37F and my gourds and beans and squash are in a very sad state. No leaves, just dark wrinkled gunk. Maybe they will recover? I was hoping for another month of growing an ripening.

And maybe thre are some fotos to... read more
