Vu Jade - Recycling the Old into the New

Most of the movies that I enjoy watching have somewhat of a Gnostic spin to them. Movies such as The Matrix, Vanilla Sky, The Truman Show, The 13th Floor, Dark City, and even Toy Story all portray people who are living in a “fake” world only to find out that there is a much bigger world outside or “Behind the Walls” so to speak. What is Life?
Is life a test?
Is life an accident?
Is life inevitable?
Where did life come from?
Where is life going?
Is life suffering?
Is life ecstasy?
Is life an illusion?
Is life real?
Is life limited?
Is life limitless?
Is life random?
Is life ordered?
Is life a continuum?

What is death?
Is death the end?
Is death the end of the begining?
Is death a means to an end?
Is death a door?
Is death an illusion?
Is death painful?
Is death beautiful?
Is death something to be feared?
Is death something to be celebrated?
Is death a dark void?
Is death a white light?
Is death final?
Is death temporary?
Is death avoidable?
Is death certain?

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

But once in awhile we can have a moment where all of our vain and shallow concerns go on pause, leaving us with a moment of concentration and curious focus. And in these moments we can Re-Hear something we'v... read more
