Mythili Prakash brings her presentation of STREE KATHA to Venice, California - for three nights only. After a successful tour of the United Kingdom in early July 2007, Mythili Prakash returns to Los Angeles to present her new choreography, Stree Katha - the untold stories of three tragic heroines of India's epic, The Ramayana. This original work explores the undercurrent of social expectations and implications of three women: Keikeyi, Shurpanaka, and Sita.

Mythili Prakash, who currently resides in India and tours extensively throughout the world, is excited to present her most recent work during a three-night engagement at the Electric Lodge in Venice, Aug. 17-19, 2007.

Stree Katha will also feature an orchestra as live accompaniment to Mythili Prakash.
