about me
My introduction was Acid and Pot as a teenager in the 1970s. We called ourselves 'freaks' not 'hippies' or whatever. Like many I then moved on to 'getting there without drugs'. Then on to parenthood and a sensible job. Then I got interested in plant drugs again turning on first to Terence McKenna, then reading extensively about the traditional use of entheogens again and experimenting personally a little hereand there. Since then I've been applying the disciplines learned as a graduate in Cultural History to exploring the role played by psychoactive plants in the history of human consciousness and religious ideas.

If you want to read a book with a chapter written from the view point of clock who converses with various other furnishings of a room and which has something to do with drugs and computers, check out 'Amnesia Moon' by Jonathan Lethem. Confused? You will be!
