about me
Hi, my name Uti Yamassee, which means Gentle Earth in Creek Seminole. I go by Uti, like the letters UT. I am a Black Indian. I grew up in Santa Monica but am now living in San Francisco. My passion is modern dance and my love is anthropology. Right now I work for a non-profit. In the past I have taught a variety of ages and types of dance/workshops. I also do stage production and event planning. I enjoy having dinner parties, taking part in my book club, late night coffee talks, dive bars, and nights out dancing. The most fulfilling edition to my life so far, beside my amazing family and friends, is my dog Yowza. He is 80lbs of love and my best friend. We have a lot in common - clumsy, spontaneous, fun loving, can eat, and love both people and dogs. So that me in a sum.
