Tribal LA videos

The slackers who run the sites for RaqsLA/ Tribal LA, or who run the LA offices for BDSS, seem to be paid for doing little to nothing! It has been known since at least April that I would be the videographer for both of these shows, and potentially for all future RaqsLA/Tribal LA shows, yet you wouldn't know it by any evidence on the websites! Granted, I was secured with short notice for RaqsLA, so maybe it wasn't enough time for them to add my contact info to the RaqsLA site. As I was filming the show, dancers would come to me wanting to buy their DVD's right then. It was chaos! Because of the confusion, I set up my own site to handle the advance purchase of DVD's for these shows. All the sitemasters had to do was add my link to their booking pages, and I would handle the rest. How difficult is that? Apparently too difficult for them, or too much work for the contact in the LA office to let them know they needed to do this! The office called me today to inform me that they would again be sending dancers my way at the show. That's akin to my standing on the stage while dancers are performing, trying to get them to stop for a moment to give me money! I guess they figure that neither dancers nor I are are actually WORKING, since THEY seemingly aren't! I spent all summer upgrading my equipment and designing cool covers & labels so that the performers would be getting the best for their money, only to find that they don't even know it's available! This just might be the best performance DVD no one knows exists!
