I'm sitting here and have for a long time been trying to figure out what all these artists and schools and authoritarian figures mean when they say...'willing to take risks.' I didn't think it was stylistically, because at this point everything has been done and who the fuck cares?!? So what risks are left to take, I have to ask? I suppose these are personal risks. What are you risking by exposing it on canvas or paper or other mediums of expression? How much can we expose of ourselves??
