Now that I have all this free time, all the things that I've been burying because I don't have enough time to stress about them are coming back. Suck.

In the meantime, some awesome things that I am thinking about:



riding my bike more (try the wiggle, know the wiggle, love the wiggle)

Climbing the walls with Becka on Friday

Saturday madness (farmer's market, Bizarre Bazar, cookie party, derby prom)

turning my house into a home (all these ideas have been percolating for ages, but now I have time and funds)

I have a bed. It is a great thing.

My hair has gotten long enough that if I don't braid it while I sleep, I wake up with it choking me.

I've been wanting to get back in to working out in some way for awhile now. I miss skating and the feeling after skating really hard.



I have been frustrated with my lack of upper body strength this season (while I'll never be as strong as the guys, I could be a lot stronger than I am), as well as enjoying climbing on things. Thus, heading down to Mission Cliffs to give wall climbing a try seems like a fun and fabulous idea. Sometime later this week. Or just heading out to the park to go climb trees. I can do that without a belay partner.

Opera season is officially over. I can have a social life again! Yay!



Also, after 3 years of sleeping on the floor and occasionally on shitty futons, I have a bed. A frame and a mattress and everything!



Lastly, I am rather cranky this evening, and I can't really explain why. Bah. I should put sheets on my new bed and go curl up and go to sleep, I think.

I never expected to have the kind of job that I would get bottles of wine as holiday presents. Or, in the case of my teetotaling boss, a box of See's candy.



This is very bizarre.



Although I suppose I did get a dozen bagels from a client of my dad's for New Year's Day a few years ago.
